Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I337 using TapatalkWanted Ivan's ECU flash but he wasn't happy with non US or Canadian requests. Thank you Ivan for making my bike something I enjoy to ride. I love riding my bike again, and the passengers who ride with me comment the bucking is gone. I know some people are not liking the price, but for me, I would have paid double to have the bike like this. I have tried my best to make it backfire. Instead of a high rpm sound it's more of a low mid sound. I'm still waiting on my air intake kit so the bike is running a little rich but what I have noticed so far.īike sounds different. I have been riding my bike every chance I get and enjoy every minute of it. The times I did ride I would be so focused on the bucking driving around town it wasn't enjoyable. I was so tired of the bucking on the Stryker I almost stopped riding it altogether. This flash is definitely an answer to our prayers. I'll have to brake some old habits I developed to overcome the flaws this bike had but overall it is an easier, smoother, stronger more controlled ride as it should have been from the beginning. I think these are the areas the PCV or other tuners tailor for our unique combination of mod's. I'm going to toy around with the EJK, seems to me like it might be a tad lean in that area. I can definitely feel a little more power that's even and consistent as you twist the throttle but as you hit those higher RPM's it diminishes slightly and the engine vibrates more. due to the Hard Kore quiet baffles I put in (they gotta go now) Exhaust sound is also lower at steady cruise speeds and in my case less aggressive also. Now, on the other hand, having those RPM's hang high for a split second if you shift very fast you don't hear that pause through the exhaust, mostly in 3-4 and 4-5 shifts. I noticed, that when you decelerate and pull the clutch to make a shift, the RPM's tend to hang and then go down slower than before (this may explain why). Shifting, although more of a mechanical event is also smoother and quieter, and that backlash when you decelerate (without squeezing the clutch) is also less harsh, in some cases not even noticeable. Acceleration in all gears is very steady and better controlled, in other words your brain, throttle and engine are very much in synch to each other. As you accelerate, it is even all the way through and the engine feels much more in balance with itself. Take-off's are much stronger with less throttle and the same goes after you've made a shift, you don't need to twist as much to continue the next gear. When I first started the bike I noticed a more even and deeper exhaust tune as it warmed up, once it got to operating temperature it seems to idle just a tad higher. The EJK did a great job adding fuel but did nothing for timing. Better control in low speeds is what pushed me to do the flash as most of my riding l choose to do in the twisty mountains and hills in my area. in first and second gears is completely gone as well. I'll start by confirming that the Backfiring on deceleration is completely gone and whatever chugging, pulling, bucking, hesitation etc. I also have the EJK tuner but I set all the parameters to bypass so it doesn't interfere with the Flash. My Stryker has the Cobra power flow, Big radius 2 in 2 and the Hard Kore quiet baffles. Hey guys and gals, I got my ECU back from Ivan on Friday and been riding all weekend.
